What is Stop the Nakedness?
STOP THE NAKEDNESS is a non-profit organization using clothing as a way to show the world LOVE. It was birthed out of a merchandizing company called Fig Tree Clothing (now Fig Tree Collective). As Fig Tree grew, we decided it was time to start using our success to cloth the world in LOVE... It was time to start giving it away.
If you look in Genesis, Chapter 3 of the Bible you will read about the fall of man. This is when Adam and Eve sin for the first time and realize that they are naked. Out of their shame they sew fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves and try to hide. God simply walked into the garden and called out to Adam, "Where are you?" Adam replies, " I was naked so I hid." God asked "Who told you that you were naked?" God then takes the life of an innocent animal and uses the fur to clothe them.
We feel that clothing is our outlet to convey a message of LOVE. For every STOP THE NAKEDNESS shirt you buy, we will send a shirt overseas to a child in need. But it doesn't stop there... we will also send you an additional shirt to give to someone first hand that may be in need or does not know about our vision.
By participating in STOP THE NAKEDNESS you are not only providing clothing to those around the world who are in need you are sending them a message of LOVE.
